Step 1:
In inertia welding, the flywheel, chuck and one component
are accelerated to a preset speed.
Step 2:
The rotating component is
then forced against the fixed component. As the flywheel slows
down, it discharges all of its energy into the interface.
Step 3:
The weld is complete as rotation stops. The result is a clean, strong, full
interface weld - every time.
