Hello Friends,
I’m riding again in this year’s Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Best Dam 150 Mile Bike Ride and would love your support in my fundraising efforts!
I cannot believe this will be my 7th year riding for MS. 7 years ago and 6 riders strong, I was deeply moved to ask my sister-in-law Eddy, who does not tread lightly (that is our team’s motto) to ride in her place because of MS challenges. Even today when I share my story of why I ride, it brings tears to my eyes and joy to my heart.
There is always an MS connection and it surfaces when you least expect it. A conversation comes up at college reunion, company activity, long time gathering of friends or family, running into someone at the store or riding a bike for a worthy cause. Unfortunately, it is because MS is so wide-spread, and it does care who is attacks. Costly research is the only way to beat this unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. Try to image those challenging effects while trying to get through your day.
But, pedaling a bike could be the answer to a world free of MS. Team Fast Eddy, “we don’t tread lightly”, is now 30 riders strong with room to grow. Please ride with us mile by mile or support me dollar by dollar. Bike MS provides much-needed funding not only to research but to ensure people affected by MS can live their best lives.
If you have supported me in the past, my deepest thank you and please consider increasing your 2019 donation. If you are waiting, wait no longer. Any amount that you can offer is one more dollar to a world free of MS.
Your tax-deductible contribution will help the National MS Society fund groundbreaking research and life-changing services for people living with MS. And ultimately, end MS forever. Please click here or the MS Logo below to connect to my MS home page
